The steps of fusion fiber

1) peel the optical cable, be careful not to hurt the tube bundle, and take about 30mm in stripping length.
2) pass the optical fiber through the heat-shrinkable tube.
The stripped cable is fragile and uses heat-shrinkable bushings to protect optical fiber connectors.
3) turn on the fiber fusion splicer power and choose the appropriate welding mode.
There are two kinds of fiber fusion splicer power supply: DC and AC, which should be switched reasonably according to the type of power supply current.
The welding machine should be placed in the welding environment for at least 15 minutes before each use of fiber fusion splicer.
The welding parameters, pre-discharge time, main discharge time and so on are set according to the type of optical fiber.
If there is no special case, generally choose to use automatic fusion program.
In use and after use, the dust and optical fiber fragments in the welding machine should be removed in time.
4) making the end face of optical fiber.
The quality of the end face of optical fiber will directly affect the quality of the connection, so the qualified end face must be made before welding.
5) cleaning of bare fiber.
Tear the cotton into small flat pieces, stick a little alcohol, clamp the stripped optical fiber, wipe along the fiber axis, and use different parts and layers of cotton each time, so as to improve the utilization rate of cotton.
6) cutting of bare fiber.
First of all, clean the cutter and adjust the position of the cutter, the placement of the cutter should be stable, and when cutting, the action should be natural, smooth, not heavy, not light.
Avoid bad end faces such as fiber breakage, bevel, burr and cracks.
7) place the optical fiber.
Put the optical fiber in the V-shaped slot of the welding machine, carefully press the optical fiber pressing plate and optical fiber fixture, set the position of the optical fiber in the pressing plate according to the optical fiber cutting length, close the windshield, press the welding key to complete the welding automatically, and the estimated loss value will be displayed on the splicing machine display screen.
8) the optical fiber is heated by a welding machine.
9) the disc is fibrous and fixed.
The scientific coiled fiber method can make the optical fiber layout reasonable, the additional loss small, withstand the test of time and harsh environment, and can avoid the phenomenon of fiber breakage caused by backlog.
In the case of disk fiber, the larger the radius of the disk fiber is, the greater the Radian is, the smaller the loss of the whole line is.
Therefore, a certain radius must be maintained to avoid some unnecessary loss when the laser is transmitted in the fiber core.
10) seal the connecting box.
The connecting box must be sealed.
If the water enters the connecting box, the optical fiber and the optical fiber fusion joint may increase the attenuation of the optical fiber because it is soaked in the water for a long time.
